Life is complicated. Over the past few years I have seen the various ways suffering arises (depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions) and witnessed folks find ways to to reduce symptoms and heal.
Transitions are periods that can be challenging whether related to grief or personal change. With support distress linked to periods of transition can be reduced.
Relationships can be hard and if you are finding that conflict, distance, or relational concerns are getting in the way of connecting there are ways to address these challenges. It is an opportunity to invest in relationships in a different way.
I work to support increased communication, self awareness, and attend to relational challenges that get in the way of
connection.
Over the past several years I have been fortunate to help others navigate processes of recovery and healing. Through a collaborative process a path forward is outlined and steps are taken to make changes that are fine tuned as progress is made. At times the goal is to reduce use, engage in safer use or work towards abstaining from use, as determined by clients.
Aware that problematic substance use is a complicated health condition other factors may be attended to, as other relationships may require attention and support.
What is it all about? Why are we here? What is my purpose?
At different times in life these questions come up and I welcome the opportunity to support you in finding what gives you a sense of meaning, fulfilment and pleasure. I offer an open space to work through those thoughts, concerns and fears that we are often uncomfortable sharing with others in our life.
